The lucrative fight purse is the reason, fighters are ready to go to Dubai and fight on their cards.

But things that are overlooked are the harsh reality. Hall of Fame inductee promoter Lou DiBella mentioned it on Twitter.

He wrote, Many in #boxing think that the new holy grail of sites and big purse opportunities is in Dubai. Well, not for a bunch of fighters who just went there for a fight card that was an organized scam. They were basically #strandedinDubai. No one protected them. Juicy story for someone.”

Certainly, it’s an important subject for fighters who are moving to Dubai. Not every fighter on the card gets the same purse as Mayweather or Joshua. They are given enough paydays because they are the center of attraction. They are the reason fans buy PPVs.
