Despite being unbeaten in his professional career, Gervonta Davis still has a tough-call in Leo Santa Cruz in his upcoming fight on October 31. While the WBA super featherweight and WBA lightweight title will be on the line, ‘Tank’s’ undefeated pro record will also be at stake.

That said, many people believe that it will be an easy night for the Baltimore native. Being the undisputed WBA lightweight champion, Gervonta Davis will add the super featherweight title on his shoulder. However, things will change instantly if Leo Santa Cruz vanquishes ‘Tank’ this weekend.

It will shock the entire boxing community and will turn Santa Cruz into a two-divisional champion. Thus, the Brooklyn native will never want to miss the opportunity. While several people have touted Davis to be the winner, Santa Cruz has responded to all his critics in the recent press conference of their fight.

Leo Santa Cruz (37-1-1) has billed Gervonta Davis as the toughest challenge in his life to date. However, he isn’t intimidated by the WBA champion. Moreover, Santa Cruz vowed to take the win on Saturday night.

Responding to his critics’ statements, the 32-year-old said, “I don’t really take offense because you know, everybody has their opinion. They could say whatever they want, everything. It’s my job to go out there and prove them wrong, you know.”

He added, “That’s what I am gonna try to do and I am training really hard to go out there and give a great fight, get the win, and hopefully prove them wrong.”

There’s no doubt that the upcoming title fight will demand extremities from both the boxers. None of them can afford to demean each other’s caliber.

Apart from the world titles, the winner of the fight will also get to enter the glorious lightweight title picture with several alluring matchups ahead. The event is also bringing back fans to the arena, citing it to be a historic event for the boxing calendar.
