FAce-off before the controversial decision of Josh Taylor and JAck Catterall
In a few hours from now, Josh Taylor, the undisputed super-lightweight champ, will enter the boxing ring for his first prime title defense. The Scottish boxer will take on Jack Catterall in this fight, and will look to retain all his hard-earned straps. The intensity behind this contest is insane, and that was evident at the weigh-ins.
While the duo was in for a faceoff, they clashed like absolute rivals and the security had to jump in. The pair talked to each other as they were fuming, and Catterall even held the champ’s neck, which left him even more livid.
Eventually, Taylor pushed his foe, and immediately the security jumped in to separate the two.

Taylor became the undisputed champ by hammering Jose Ramirez last year. In the initial rounds, Ramirez dominated him. But ‘The Tartan Tornado’ is capable enough to turn the tide in his favor and he ended up doing the same.
Dropping Ramirez twice in the fight, Taylor became the true aggressor midway through the fight. This contest went the distance, but ‘The Tartan Tornado’ was a clear winner on the judges’ scorecards.
