Tommy Fury has landed the biggest fight of his career as he will take on Jake Paul after a year-long feud with him. The two fighters started exchanging words online nearly a year ago and now, just after Tommy’s long-awaited US debut, he will come back to the states to fight Paul in a grudge match.

The WBC heavyweight champion of the world, Tyson Fury, congratulated his younger brother on his big fight via his Instagram story. “Massive congratulations to Tommy Fury on his big fight news. Living the dream daily, see you soon bro.” Moreover, Tommy Fury was part of ‘The Gypsy King’s corner when he fought Deontay Wilder.

This time around, we may see Tyson Fury supporting and guiding his brother in his corner. Social media sensation Jake Paul announced the fight via his social media handles. The fight will take place on December 18th, in Tampa Bay, Florida. Paul also stated that he would change Tommy Fury’s name on December 18th.

Eddie Hearn heaps pressure on Tommy Fury 

Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn reacted to the Fury vs Paul fight and has put a lot of pressure on Fury’s shoulder. Tommy will be under immense pressure going into the fight against Jake Paul. His brother and his father have stated that if he loses to Jake, there is no place for him in the boxing world.

Eddie Hearn also said, “Logic would tell you a pro that boxed for a living and was also Tyson Fury‘s brother should never lose to Jake Paul… If Tommy loses, he should go to a desert island and just stay there for life. It would be the most embarrassing thing.”
