Logan Paul has spoken to Brendan Schaub about the biggest matchup of his young career against Floyd Mayweather. He candidly revealed that he didn’t believe his manager when the latter brought it up because of how the fight doesn’t make sense.

“None of this is comprehensible. This makes no f**king sense. My manager, [this] is months ago, comes up to me, he says ‘Logan would you fight Floyd Mayweather?’  I go, ‘I mean yes I would, but why are you asking me that question?’ Like go do something else, this makes no sense, how is that going to be a thing ever?’”

Paul elaborated on the magnitude of the match.

“I think a month later, he approached me with a contract. He said, ‘If you sign here, you’re going to be fighting Floyd Mayweather.’ I said, ‘Sure Jeff, I’ll sign your fantasy contract. Like f–k you, why would this ever happen?’ I signed it, and then after just months and months of going back and forth and figuring out dates, we had three different dates, and how to announce it, and just like the strategy behind it.

“It finally came to fruition, and this event that supersedes everything I’ve ever done in my life, is finally solidified.”

Logan is definitely not the best boxer that Floyd could have fought. His brother Jake Paul seems to be a more commercial name in the world of combat sports and is undefeated. Logan Paul has lost a fight before to YouTuber KSI, but will now get this massive opportunity.

What Floyd brings in skill, Logan brings in size. He is larger than Mayweather, but it is never about the size of the dog in the fight, but rather the heart, and that is what it will come down to.

Logan is 100% correct. This fight doesn’t make sense. But the more you look into it, was there any other fight that Mayweather could have had with such a strong risk-reward ratio? Not one comes to mind, so this encounter should be a very exciting one.
