For the younger generation, Youtuber Logan Paul is a pioneer in evolving the platform. He was one of the first YouTubers to make long-length video vlogs popular and rose to fame through his innovative ideas. Since then, he has ventured into many fields including boxing, The WWE, and cryptocurrency.

Although Paul might be a role model for many, he also has his own idols he seeks inspiration from. This includes renowned Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino, who interacted with Paul at an NFT convention.

Logan Paul details the incident when he met Tarantino

In a short video, The Maverick describes how he saw Tarantino at an NFT convention in New York and asked him for a picture.

I almost met Quentin Tarantino. He was speaking NFT Nyc in New York, I attended his seminar. So he was taking pictures with a couple of people and he came to me. I knew this was an opportunity for me to get the polaroids of one of the greatest directors of all time,” he said.

However, to Paul’s surprise, the director would leave without taking a picture, which left Paul heartbroken. “I thought he’d come back like he said. He never came back for me. Don’t meet your heroes kids. When I have a photo in mind and I came so close to getting it, but I fell short. It destroys me so I didn’t do it. Now I don’t get what I want and now I’m heartbroken,” he added.

Lastly, Paul revealed that this resulted in him going to the top of a skyscraper to click the polaroids of the city, which gave him his next Original, ‘Chasing Tarantino’.” “The next day we went top of a building beautiful skyline in New York City. I climb over the rail, my new security guards freaking out. I’m horrified. l lay down and just snapping away Polaroids but regardless, I missed Quentin Tarantino. I was upset, and that’s why this photograph is called chasing Tarantino,” he said.

It seems like although Paul did not get a picture of his idol; he did have something memorable to take with him. The 99 Originals is an NFT project by Paul where he will auction 99 of his polaroids along with additional perks to each buyer.
