If there were belts given out for a callouts for a fight, probably KSI and Jake Paul would win them. Their heated rivalry dates back to November 2019, when the British YouTuber gave Jake Paul’s older brother, Logan Paul, his first professional boxing loss. Since then, the two have been at a constant state of war, with a fight always being talked about yet never materializing. Though KSI and Logan Paul have since made up and are even business partners for Prime Hydration, Jake Paul has carried on the rivalry with the Londoner.
The 31-year-old’s beef with Jake Paul continues to this day as well, with the latter calling KSI out for settling the rivalry once and for all, albeit at a pricey cost. But the making of this match is something that keeps being pushed back, every single time they speak on the issue. Speaking on his podcast IMPAULSIVE last year in March, Logan Paul said, “I’m working on it. I’m trying so hard. There’s a weight problem at the moment… [Jake] genuinely believes that he’s kind of above the influencer boxing, and he classifies KSI still as an influencer boxer.” With KSI not having boxed since October 2023 and Jake having already moved to heavyweight and then back down to cruiserweight, the chances of them fighting are diminishing with every passing day. Now, Logan Paul has given his absolute verdict on the prospect of the two fighting each other.

Jake Paul vs. KSI is most unlikely to happen, ever
A few days ago, popular streamer Adin Ross shared a video on his YouTube channel, titled “Logan Paul Comes on Adin Ross’ Stream!” It was just another one of his livestreams, where Ross, Logan Paul, and Mike Majlak hung out, chatted, and answered the fans’ random questions. It was towards the end of the one-hour-long video when Ross brought up the long-awaited KSI vs. Jake Paul bout.
“Can we get KSI and Jake to either become friends or fight?” Ross asked Logan. To that, the WWE star responded nonchalantly in just two words: “It’s impossible.” Logan Paul pointed out casually that it’s time for the YouTube-boxing fanbase to stop expecting a fight between Jake Paul and KSI. Because it is impossible. It seems like he’s already tried convincing his sibling to fight.
And, while on the outside it may look like Jake Paul is ducking the fight, it is a fair thing to do if one fighter is at cruiserweight, and the other fights well below that weight. And that is a significant factor in deciding the outcome. In Logan Paul’s podcast, he continued to say the same thing, explaining why a fight isn’t materializing. “He won’t go down to a weight where he’s genuinely uncomfortable just to satisfy a YouTube audience. He’s big now. He’s bigger. He’s a thick f*cking tattooed beast,” Logan Paul had earlier explained.

Taking a similar stance, Jake Paul’s promoter brought in a bigger demand for the camp to even consider the possibility of a fight.
Nakisa Bidarian’s $100 million condition
Nakisa Bidarian, Jake Paul’s promoter and co-founder of the MVP, spoke about the issue of making a fight in a virtual interview with Freddie Talks Fighting back in December 2024. First, answering what is stopping the fight, he said, “Jake Paul’s a cruiserweight. If they called tomorrow and said we’re ready to do the fight at cruiserweight, which means you can weigh in anywhere from 176 to 200 lbs, we would make that fight immediately.“

What’s your perspective on:
Is Jake Paul avoiding KSI, or is the weight class difference a legitimate reason for no fight?

So, after all, it is the weight that is the crux of all problems. Bidarian continued, “There’s no desire for Jake Paul to cut weight to fight [a boxer like] KSI, right? To cut weight more than he does to 200 pounds. No desire. Now, having said that, if KSI showed up and said, here is a guaranteed $100 million for Jake Paul, then sure, like, that’s equal to other opportunities that we have, then we’d consider that.” He added that since such an amount is not possible for KSI and his Misfits Promotions to bring to the table, a fight is difficult to ever be made.
As of now, Jake Paul is set to face the 54-6 boxer and former middleweight world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the Honda Center, Anaheim, on June 28. Meanwhile, KSI has no return date confirmed as of yet. Do you think Jake Paul vs. KSI could ever happen? Or will this possibly huge fight never make it to the ring?
