Social media personality AnEsonGib recently stepped into the boxing ring for the second time in his career. He faced Austin McBroom for a sensational showdown. And, it should be said that his stellar performance earned him the respect of his peers and a rather intriguing comparison.

Gib faced McBroom at the Banc of California Stadium, Los Angeles on September 10, 2022. His last tango in the ring was in 2020 when he faced Jake Paul, losing the fight by TKO.

However, the Gib vs McBroom showdown was a true display of Gib’s technical skill. McBroom had an aggressive start to the fight. But Gib was successful in keeping him near the ropes.

McBroom was knocked down for the first time in round 3. Moreover, Gib’s powerful counter punches were instrumental in downing him once more in the same round.

Round 4 was also in Gib’s favor. Fans were in awe of the sheer power behind Gib’s right-handed shots. He went on to down McBroom two more times before a final sensational KO in the same round.

Meanwhile, fellow social media personality Logan Paul was impressed by his performance. He even took to social media to congratulate him on his win.

But, many were left intrigued after he also mentioned that Gib is the ‘next Mike Tyson’.

Logan Paul was not the only one who congratulated him

AnEsonGib impressed a lot of names from the boxing fraternity and the social media world with his performance. In fact, his former opponent, Jake Paul, and pro boxer, Hasim Rahman Jr. took to social media to congratulate him on his win.

While Paul congratulated Gib for his victory. He was also quick to take a nasty swipe at McBroom for his performance. He didn’t even mince words while saying, “You can’t play boxing.”

Rahman Jr. on the other hand posted a video of Gib’s sensational knockout win. Moreover, he also congratulated Gib for a spectacular performance.
