Logan Paul recently met with Manny Pacquiao at Wild Card Boxing Gym in Los Angeles. In an interview after his visit, Paul shared what he said to Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather after their fight on June 6, 2021. The internet influencer-turned-boxer thanked the 50-0 boxing legend for giving him the opportunity to share the ring with him for eight rounds.

Logan Paul also shared that the event generated more than a million PPV sales. He said that he was happy with the results and fighting Floyd Mayweather was “an honor”. ‘The Maverick’ also expressed that he was happy with hitting him with some good shots and adding ‘Money’ to his highlight reel.

What is next for Logan Paul?

Regardless of the judge’s scorecards, Logan Paul lasted all eight rounds with Floyd Mayweather. While some called it a landslide win for Mayweather, some also appreciated Logan Paul for pulling through all rounds with inarguably the best boxer in the world. His exhibition fight has since caught the eyes of many in the combat sports community.

Paul has since teased a couple of options to his fans. In a post-fight interview, he talked about his excessive clinching against Mayweather and drew a correlation to his wrestling background. To this, he added he would be interested in exploring the realms of mixed martial arts.

I’d do MMA, for sure, because I am a good grappler. You know, I’m a wrestler at heart,said Paul.

However, he might still have plans to stick to boxing for now as he recently discussed the possibility of fighting Mike Tyson. Logan Paul saw an element of humor in fighting the 55-year-old boxing legend. However, he was quick to dismiss those doubting his ability to defeat Tyson.

Apart from Mike Tyson, former UFC light-heavyweight champion Rashad Evans also recently showed interest in fighting Logan Paul.

“I’m going to be honest. At first I thought these guys were going to go in there and not take the sport serious and just clown around and just do what they do, be a prankster about it. But they took it serious. They actually look like athletes,” said Evans.

When asked about his opponent-wish list in a recent interview, Logan Paul saidyou’ll find out soon“. This could mean that a new announcement for Logan Paul’s next fight might be on the horizon. It would make sense for the announcement to come around Jake Paul’s fight against Tyron Woodley in August.
