The sport of boxing is chock full with the recent influx of social media celebrities. This in turn has given birth to a new class of boxing bourgeoise, who is on an eternal ‘beef-quest’. YouTuber turned boxer Logan Paul happens to be one of them with a penchant for starting a beef. In fact, he once almost started a fight with singer Justin Bieber.

Bieber made a rather intriguing tweet back in 2019, challenging Hollywood actor Tom Cruise for a UFC fight. He said, “Tom if you don’t take this fight, you’re scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight?”

Moreover, he also tagged Dana White asking him to set up a fight. Bieber later told James Corden why he wished to fight Cruise. “I don’t know. I was just being stupid, to be honest. But then people were like, ‘I wanna see this happen.’ And I was like, ‘You know what? That could actually be funny.'”

Meanwhile, it is safe to say that nothing gets past the eye of the crown prince of social media. Paul called Bieber out for challenging a ’56-year-old’. He even added that Bieber should fight him instead.

However, a probable fight between Bieber and Cruise would have been a sight to witness. In fact, one can even call it a modern ‘Hillsong vs Scientology’ showdown.

Logan Paul extends support to Justin Bieber

Logan Paul might be an eccentric individual. But he has been known to be a sturdy pillar of support when the need arises.

Bieber was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2020. Paul extended his support by commenting on Bieber’s Instagram, saying ‘Adapt and Overcome’. In a later interview, Paul mentioned that Lyme disease was a serious condition. He even added that his aunt suffered from the same.
