The main event between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul stayed true to the magnificent buzz created around it. Both the fighters went full throttle against each other and entertained the fans with their sublime performances. However, it was the favorite, Floyd Mayweather, who edged over his compatriot in every department.

Right from the first bell, Mayweather employed his defense and kept his distance. However, Paul caught him with some continuous shots in round 1 of the bout. As someone who has seen it all, Mayweather didn’t let those punches impact him by any means.

Mayweather proceeded with his solid jabs and defense. He tried to keep a fair control of the fight by dodging the heat coming off ‘The Maverick’s hands. But in the later rounds, ‘Pretty Boy’ picked up the pace and came out with some solid counterattacks. As a result, Logan Paul didn’t really have the answer to Mayweather’s extensive blows.

As the fight went ahead, Mayweather only got comfortable landing his strikes. However, to his credit, Paul, too, showcased enough to survive the full twenty-four minutes.

As the fight began, the YouTuber adopted an offensive approach. Though he couldn’t really catch Mayweather, he had his fair and share of moments in the squared circle.

The rules of this fight were pre-determined. Hence, it was clear that this contest won’t have a winner. Despite that, both the fighters put on a clinical performance against each other.

Did Logan Paul perform the way he was supposed to?

Logan Paul, who showed massive improvements in this fight, did enough to keep ‘TBE’ on his toes. Furthermore, he even struck Mayweather with a few of his hits. Also, he used his height and reach well to stay out of range and cause damage. Hence, his fight style lived up to pre-fight expectations.
