After coming out of a fight against one the greatest heavyweight champions and making a mark for himself with just his debut fight, Francis Ngannou has moved a step forward. Anthony Joshua has confirmed the details of his upcoming bout against the former UFC champion. The fight is set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a reported date of Friday, March 8. For this massive fight, their estimated purses are just as attractive.

Fans have added their remarks on the purse estimates as well as who they think might end up as the victor in this fight of the Titans.

Happy Punch shared the news on their X account which they sourced from Forbes. Francis Ngannou is relatively a new player in the game of boxing. Despite having a good pull on his audience, Joshua would naturally be the bigger name given their respective experiences in the sport.

Ngannou will bag an estimated $20 million which is less than half of what Joshua who will take a whopping $50 million. This is still an upgrade from the $100 million that Ngannou earned in his fight against Tyson Fury. Though the earnings will be much greater than what the ‘Predator’ earned in his entire MMA career, fans believe he deserves much more.

Fans have already started making their predictions months before the fight even starts.  One fan was confident about Ngannou’s win. “Francis Ngannou really getting half the money to put Anthony Joshua to SLEEP” he said.

“If Ngannou manages to beat him, he will be one of the greatest combat sports athletes in history” said another fan.

“I wouldn’t doubt Ngannou’s knockout power against anyone, especially in Saudi!” another fan placed his trust in the massive punching power that Ngannou posses.

One fan was ready to place all her bets on Ngannou. “Me trying to make a bet on Ngannou: Looks like I’ll have to call the bank again!” she said.

A fan found it odd that Ngannou was getting just $20 million for his efforts. “Ngannou’s getting less than 30% pre-PPV?That’s bs. He easily deserves 30m+, especially if AJ is getting 50m.” he said, laying a sum of at least $30 million.

Most fans have picked Ngannou and placed their trust in the humble and hard-working beast whom Mike Tyson himself trained.
