‘The Greatest’ was born with the name Cassius Clay Jr., but he later adopted Islam and renamed himself, Muhammad Ali. There is a reason why Ali was known to do the unthinkable. He liked to boast about beating a boxer in a certain round during the press conferences prior to the fight. And he actually justified his words by proving what he said.

Additionally, he declined to enlist in the military during the Vietnam War because he felt he would not fight for a nation that did not treat all of its citizens equally. He was far more charismatic than any other athlete as a result of all of this. But recently a picture resurfaced on the internet where Ali failed at something that appears to be a fairly easy ask, especially for a boxer of Ali’s Caliber.
Fans react to Muhammad Ali’s failed attempt
‘The Vintage News’ recently shared a post on Facebook where Ali is trying to lift an aged man. The caption of the post reads, “Muhammad Ali attempted to lift 76 year old former World bantamweight boxing champion Johnny Coulon. He had a famous trick where he put his finder on the lifters neck and wrist, making himself unliftable. The results were always the same; regardless of how much he strained and struggled, he couldn’t budge Coulon from the floor.”
Many fans couldn’t believe the incredible picture. Some displayed amazement at the bizarre trick. Others couldn’t believe their eyes. Take a look at what fans have to say about it. One fan wrote, “Pressure point control tactics…to make even the biggest drool on themselves.”
While another fan said, “The ART of combat. This guy was wise and it’s cool he wanted to interact with Ali”
