Luke Campbell Admits Ryan Garcia Is the Hardest Puncher He Has Ever Faced

The first main event of boxing for 2021 certainly lived up to its hype. Both Luke Campbell and Ryan Garcia put on an exhilarating show for the combat sports audience. ‘King Ry’ proved his mettle once again by knocking out ‘Cool Hand’ in round number 7 of this electrifying encounter.

Post this battle, both the fighters interacted with each other backstage and shed some light on the fight.

‘King Ry’ asked Campbell, “Out of all the champions you’ve fought, who do you think is the hardest, be honest.”

Campbell replied, “Yeah, you are!” 

The pair hugged and acknowledged each other’s prowess. Both of them showed quality fair play in this fight and post that too.

‘Cool Hand’ stunned Garcia in round 2 of the fight. Campbell struck him with a huge left hook that staggered him, and he got forced to bend down to his knees.

Garcia kept his composure and stood up real quick. He kept the fight going until he saw a mighty opportunity to land a vicious body shot on his opponent.

Ryan Garcia set to fight for the title?

With this cracker of a win, Garcia is now the WBC interim lightweight champion. He has improved his boxing resume to 21 wins with an astonishing 18 KO’s. ‘King Ry’ employed his natural game-plan and fight IQ to bag the much-needed win of his career.

This victory has ensured that he will receive a world title shot. He will confront the WBC lightweight champion, Devin Haney, to reach his goal.
