Recently, the super flyweight champion, Roman ‘Chocolatito’ Gonzalez, shared his views on this epic encounter in a chat with Fight Hype.
“He believes that they both have advantages and disadvantages. Obviously, the age is an important factor, but he obviously thinks that Manny Pacquiao has a hard-hitting punch and at the same time is a legend. He believes that it’s gonna be a good fight if it were to be done.

And at the same time, he wishes them both well. Whoever comes out victorious, it would be happy to see a fight like that.” (via Gonzalez’s translator).

‘Pacman’ is a long time runner in the sport and ‘Chocolatito’ felt that he has an upper hand in this fight. The Nicaragua boxer believes this fight to be worth a watch as both the fighters exhibit a colossal profile. Moreover, he wished luck to both the fighters and seemed curious to watch this fight.

The Filippino Senator fought in 2019 last against Keith Thurman. ‘Pacman’ retained his welterweight title in this fight but has stayed out of action since then. The news of his bout with Garcia has spread like wildfire and fans are eager to see them collide.

On the flip side, ‘KingRy’ cites Manny Pacquiao as his all-time favorite, he even compared him to Muhammad Ali. Garcia is ready to keep his lightweight title aspirations aside to touch gloves with ‘Pacman’ once.

Although Garcia is still young and he hasn’t budged an inch from his dream of bagging the title, but he has clearly prioritized a fight with the Senator over anything else.
