Gervonta Davis wrote, “Canelo is me at 168..facts” 

The Filipino Senator Manny Pacquiao congratulated Canelo over his blistering knockout win.

Congratulations to the pound for pound king, @canelo, on making boxing history as the first undisputed super middleweight champion ever. Plant put up a great fight but Canelo is just too good. Boxing is in great hands,” he wrote.

The WBC lightweight champ, Devin Haney, took it to Twitter as well. ‘The Dream’ wrote, ”Canelo the best mf fighter in the world! Period”

The bigwig boxing personality, Teddy Atlas, had some sublime words for both Canelo and Plant. He tweeted, “Canelo finally put punches together! And Plant stayed close too much. Great effort by Plant however.”

The undisputed super-lightweight champ, Josh Taylor, too, sent a beautiful message to the p4p star.

Canelo Alvarez completely outclassed Caleb Plant in this bout. He attacked ‘Sweethands’ body from the first round itself. That said, he only maximized on the same in later rounds.

Although Plant didn’t win this fight, he still showed heart and fought like a true champ. However, despite his best efforts, he could not deny Canelo the win.
