This comes as a result of the constant rumors of a fight against Conor McGregor. Pacquiao has been out of action since his decision victory over Keith Thurman to become the champion.

After that fight, many fans felt the Filipino should have called time on his career. However, speaking to Business Mirror, Pacquiao said he wants to fight current WBC and IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr.

He claimed that he fancies his chances against him. “He [Spence] is too slow… Spence is slower than Thurman, but it’s going to be a good fight,” said Pacquiao.

He said, “I will also donate a big portion of my income to Filipino COVID-19 victims.” Thus, not failing to show his good side yet again.

This will come as a shock to many fans and followers; however, given that he is at the twilight of his career, it seems as though Pacquiao wants one or two big fights before he calls it quits. If that is the case, Errol Spence Jr. is surely the biggest fight in the division.
