A gigantic welterweight clash between Manny Pacquiao and Terence Crawford is on the brink of getting confirmed. A few days back, the Top Rank boss asserted on staging a fight between the two, and it seems he is finally abiding by his words. That said, a fight between the duo is being targeted for June 5 in Abu Dhabi.

Mike Coppinger reported the same on his official Twitter handle.
“Sources: Top Rank has informed ESPN and PPV distributor In Demand that it’s exploring a June 5 fight in Abu Dhabi between welterweight champ Terence Crawford and Manny Pacquiao. There’s no deal yet, but it’s contingent on the fight happening in Abu Dhabi,” he stated.

The Filippino Senator didn’t compete for the whole of 2020 and is eager to resume his boxing career. Considering the same, no one better than Terence Crawford can welcome ‘Pacman’ back to the game.
The last time Pacquiao boxed was in July 2019. He confronted the undefeated Keith Thurman for his WBA welterweight title defense. Pacquiao gave his best shot in this fight and ended up winning the bout with a split decision.
‘Pacman’ is undeniably in the twilight of his career. That said, a fight with Crawford will only add to his legacy and decorated boxing resume. He will look forward to entering this fierce 12-round tussle with the ‘Bud’, thus rolling out a sublime boxing show for the fans.
