This was his very first fight at this weight class and he rolled out a performance for the ages. With the fight he put on, it’s obvious that he’ll be a hot topic in the boxing world from hereon.

That said, his promoter and the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, Leonard Ellerbe, has decided to escalate ‘Tank’s fanbase. He will plan a tour for the undefeated boxer soon. This will be in the UK so that Davis gets to interact with his fans across the pond.

He went toe-to-toe against a bigger and undefeated foe and certainly held his own within the ropes. ‘El Azteca’ had his fair share of moments in the ring and at one point it seemed as if would defeat Davis if the fight went to the judges’ scorecards.

But, by employing his power and solid fight IQ, ‘Tank’ battered ‘El Azteca’ in round 11 itself and claimed a magnetic win. This was his finest performance to the date, wherein he made spontaneous adjustments to turn the tide in his favor.
