Leonard Ellerbe, the former financial planner for Floyd Mayweather Jr and the current CEO of Mayweather Promotions, took jabs at Oscar De La Hoya after he tweeted something favoring Ryan Garcia ahead of his fight. Additionally, Ellerbe did not hold back from replying to La Hoya’s tweet and slammed him for his take.

La Hoya tweeted, My guy @RyanGarcia will not only shock the world he will make it look easy and begin his legacy. Let’s go!!!” As thoughtful as this tweet seems, it did not thrill Ellerbe. The CEO questioned La Hoya’s trust and claimed that even though Garcia was a good fighter, La Hoya didn’t believe what he wrote.

Garcia fight. The user 2ToneDaSuperstar on Twitter claimed that the “Mayweather protection program” added a catchweight and a dehydration clause.

However, Ellerbe did not hold back from replying to these claims made by the fan. Ellerbe wrote, “Shut your big goofy ass up.” Additionally, he did not stop at this and used a clown emoji for the fan.
