Logan Paul’s exhibition bout against Floyd Mayweather has got the entire boxing world talking about it. After Paul surprisingly lasted eight rounds with ‘Money Mayweather,’ many fans and experts have given their take on the bout. And now, legendary boxer, Evander Holyfield, has spoken about the event.

Even after the fight, the event had its fair share of criticism. Many fans ridiculed it for being a boring bout, while some also pointed out that Mayweather knocked out ‘The Maverick’ and then held him back.

The 44-10-2 boxer spoke to FightHype.com immediately after the fight and gave his honest opinion on the matter. He said, “I think it was entertaining. I’m just like… entertainment.

“Mayweather took a big risk, a big-old guy and all this, and got quick reflex, and young, is strong. And of course, with Logan, you know, he doesn’t change. He’s fighting a guy who knows how to fight. Who knows timing and all this.”

Thus, this comment from Holyfield showed that he liked the fight and wanted more people to appreciate it. Moreover, instead of questioning the difference, ‘The Real Deal’ showed them the respect they deserved for putting on a show.

Why is Evander Holyfield supportive of the Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul event?

The comments from the former heavyweight champion of the world showed that he was all for the exhibition. And evidently, he did not regret this since he enjoyed the event. So why is Holyfield showing his support to Mayweather and Paul for the exhibition?

‘The Real Deal’ himself has been searching for an opponent for over a year now. He has undergone an impressive body transformation and was all set to fight Kevin McBride on June 19. However, that fight seems to be off now.

However, considering he wants to make his comeback to the sport at 58, it is no surprise that Holyfield was supportive of the Mayweather vs. Paul exhibition. Only time will tell if ‘The Real Deal’ will get in the ring himself.
