Although Truax may have to fight for a living, his partner has had a significant battle of her own. In 2016, while Michelle Stocke in labor for their first child Mia, she suffered a stroke and brain bleed. This led to an unexpected C-section.

However, just like her partner, Michelle Stocke fought through, and now, almost five years on, both baby and mother are safe. This was the hardest period for the couple, as Truax has a fight lined up three months from that incident.
