Anthony Taylor is one of the most notable names in the realm of influencer boxing. He is fearless inside the ring and flamboyant outside it. However, unlike other influencer boxers, Taylor is neither a YouTuber nor a Tik-Toker. He has his foundation in the sport of MMA and even competed in Bellator for a while but did not find much success in it.
It would be safe to say that he has transitioned into an influencer boxer and quite a demanding one. In a recent turn of events, Taylor was called out by Floyd Mayweather’s former opponent. Who is this opponent and how did he call him out? In addition, how did Taylor strike back? Let’s find that out.

Taylor rejects a potential fight against Floyd Mayweather’s former opponent
The potential opponent is none other than Aaron Chalmers. Just like Taylor, Chalmers is primarily an MMA fighter from PFL but had an exhibition with ‘Money’ Mayweather earlier this year. In a recent interview, the MMA fighter cum boxer called out Taylor. However, Taylor shut him down. He claimed that Chalmers had four opportunities to fight him but ducked him.

That being said, he did not deny a possible match-up, as long as he breaks his losing streak. Reflecting on the same, on X., he stated, “This bum @AaronCGShore turn me down the first time so I fought Tommy fury. Second time in Dubai so I fought Ryan Taylor. The third time I fought Jack Finchem. Fourth time so he fights Kiefer Crosby on Kingpin.. now this MF wants to fight me and is on a two-fight losing streak….. clown shit…”
He added, “I’m not interested go fight my brother Isaac then maybe I’ll Be interested.” It would be safe to say that the bout may not be on the cards unless Taylor changes his mind. However, Taylor has been on quite a run and is aware of the same.
