It’s been a glorious five years for Mike Tyson, but it seems like a wrap for the former heavyweight champion. Today marks Tyson’s last episode of Hotboxin With Mike Tyson, as he revealed in a social media post. However, as the former ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ exits the podcast business after four amazing seasons, he has made some serious accusations towards The US Government!

Tyson is about to enter the ring against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. The fight will be Netflix’s blockbuster entry into the boxing scene. However, before that can happen, Tyson claimed The US Government is trying to change everyone’s thinking pattern by taking their power away.

Mike Tyson alleges he can’t say certain things now

In his last podcast, Mike Tyson played host to popular singer Nicky Jam. While discussing certain NSFW words in Jam’s songs – Tyson suddenly brought up the allegations. He said, “Listen, those guys laughing. The government [is] trying to change our thinking pattern. I mean, we can’t say n****. They taking n**** away from us.”

‘Iron Mike’ even suggested that the Government is taking his power away. “I’m not saying nothing. You’re losing consciousness. You’re losing the power. [They are] taking all my power away.” When Jam enquired whether there were some words Tyson and the co-host of the podcast can’t say, Tyson claimed, “If you say n****, everybody black boy [will say], ‘oh my s**t, he’s a racist.” In the meantime, Tyson’s trainer has addressed some serious concerns about Tyson’s upcoming fight.

Rafael Cordeiro reassures there’s nothing to worry about

Since the fight between 58-year-old Mike Tyson and 27-year-old Jake Paul was announced earlier this month, fans and pundits alike have expressed concerns over the dangers of injury for Tyson. So, while appearing in an interview with Ariel Helwani in MMA Hour, Rafael Cordeiro, Tyson’s trainer, reassured everyone about the fight.

Highlighting Tyson’s achievements in the sport, Cordeiro suggested it’s nothing new for Tyson. He said, “I believe people don’t have to be concerned about it. We’re talking about a two-time world champion… He’s fought against the best guys in the world. When he steps inside the ring he knows what to do. It’s not something new for Mike, and this fight is no different.”

With that said, it’s unfortunate that fans won’t get to hear Tyson’s countless stories about the glory days. However, his upcoming bout against Paul should give the fans enough to keep them busy for the next few months. Regardless, what did you think about Tyson’s accusations about The US Government? Do you think they are taking away his power?
