Mike Tyson’s rise to fame came with its share of ups and downs. Inside the ring, Tyson was the most feared man on the planet. Outside of it, however, his life was not so perfect. Tyson recalls a disturbing time in his life, where he was easily irritable and extremely violent.

Speaking to Yahoo Finance, Tyson revealed what he was like. “My life was just miserable. I was out of control. I was fighting with everybody. If someone asked me for an autograph, I’d punch them in the face. I was just a mess, and then after I retired, I started smoking,” Tyson said.

Following his retirement, Tyson quickly lost all his earning and filed for bankruptcy in 2003. Since then, he started building up his fortune again and made smart financial decisions. He started a couple of companies and today he is financially stable and doing well for himself. Although he probably will never be able to earn the kind of money he made from boxing again.

After a successful comeback to the boxing ring, ‘Iron’ Mike is on the lookout for his next opponent. Tyson fought Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition match last year. Tyson still seems to have some of the deadly speed and power that made him so formidable. Even at 55 years of age, Tyson still packs a punch.

Mike Tyson confirms his return to the boxing ring

‘Iron’ Mike confirmed his return to the boxing ring, “I am going to have a return fight in February and we are pretty sceptical about the opponent, but it will be a really stimulating opponent,” he said. Tyson also ruled out Jake Paul as a potential opponent but did not comment on his older brother, Logan Paul.

Logan ‘The Maverick’ Paul himself is looking for his next fight after going eight rounds with Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather earlier this year. Reports suggest that Paul is now set to take on the Hall of Famer, Mike Tyson in another exhibition fight. Who do you think Tyson should fight next?
