Heavyweight icon, Mike Tyson, has favored Manny Pacquiao over Terence Crawford in a potential welterweight showdown. Although the matchup isn’t official yet, it has already alarmed the combat community, garnering different opinions from the experts.

While former featherweight champion, Shakur Stevenson, has envisioned Terence Crawford stopping Manny Pacquiao, Tyson didn’t express the same. ‘Iron’ and ‘Fearless’ shared different opinions and split the fight-world into two halves.

The 23-year-old recently appeared on the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast to talk about several things. Among the topics was the ‘Pac-Man’ vs ‘Bud’ matchup.

“Crawford gonna stop him,” said Stevenson. In response, Mike Tyson said, “I don’t think so.” Meanwhile, co-host Henry Cejudo billed Tyson as a Pacquiao fan. When Stevenson asked whether Tyson sees the Filipino legend winning against Crawford, ‘Iron’ Mike answered, “Fu** yeah.”

However, the WBO champion, Terence Crawford, hasn’t expressed his interest in any of the big fights ahead. Being the undefeated titleholder, he was touted to face WBC and IBF champion, Errol Spence Jr., in a major unification clash.

While the fight didn’t make it to the contract, ‘Bud’ and ‘Pac-Man’ were rumored to lock horns. But it too faded away with time, and Manny Pacquiao could return against Errol Spence Jr. ahead. Nevertheless, it is also not official, but Pacquiao seems to have a lot of options available for himself.

Being the Senator of the Philippines, he had to deploy his time to his country and had to take a long layoff from the sport. Due to his long inactivity, the WBA stripped him of his title. Hence, the 42-year-old is keen on stepping through the ropes for a championship bout on his return.
