The 54-year-old boxing veteran now has his own canna**** ranch in California and is believed to be an ardent smoker. He has engaged in smoking on camera quite often. Thus, people were eager to know whether he continued smoking during his preparation for ‘Captain Hook’.
Meanwhile, Tyson contrasted his statements on canna*** consumption. While he claimed to quit it on Joe Rogan’s podcast, he provided a statement to the contrary after his comeback to boxing. These dual statements have forced many fans to believe that Tyson has lied about smoking mari****.
Mike Tyson might have mixed up his statements
A few months ago, Mike Tyson appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast to discuss several things about his current lifestyle. It was a friendly interview where Tyson talked about many things, one being his mari*** consumption.
When Rogan asked him whether he has stopped smoking, Tyson said, “Pretty much yeah. It’s gonna stop.”
It was a clear answer and ‘Iron’ didn’t think twice before saying so. However, later in his post-fight press conference Tyson stated something different. The comment raised several eyebrows from the fanbase.
After facing Roy Jones Jr, Tyson faced several questions. Hence, it is no surprise that his smoking habits have found a place amongst all the inquiries again.

This time, he accepted that he smoked frequently. Tyson said, “Well listen, I can’t stop smoking. I smoked during fights, I always have to smoke sorry. I am smoker.”

He added, “I smoke every day. I never stopped smoking.”
While fans continue to ridicule him for the double statement, Tyson is eyeing another fight in the future. He has vowed to continue fighting and might lock horns against Shannon Briggs or Evander Holyfield. Meanwhile, there is a pool full of big names to pick from if Tyson is actually eyeing another dance inside the squared circle.
