Mike Tyson Delivers Blunt Verdict on Blueface’s Boxing Skills to His Face

Mike Tyson has retired from the sport but still retains the skills that made him a menacing boxer in his heydays.  He also remains the larger-than-life figure whose words hold value globally. So no wonder why his podcast, “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson” is so heavily watched.

What makes the podcast so intriguing to the masses is the sheer variety of guests he has and the insightful discussions he has on a regular basis. Recently he had the famous American rapper, Blueface featured on the podcast alongside his girlfriend.

Blueface last year had an exhibition boxing bout in a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship [BKC] card. He won the bout and his exhibition record stands at 1-0-0 as per Tapology.

During the episode, the two discussed Blueface’s bout and what got him into the sport. Mike had some sound advice for the rapper for his future boxing bouts and how he should approach the sport.

What did Mike Tyson Suggest to Blueface ?

Tyson was fairly impressed by the Blueface’s skills. However, he suggested the rapper stick to fighting other rappers.

Blueface started the conversation by explaining how he got into boxing and what nudged him to have the fight booked. He said that football was not interesting to him anymore since it got “Businessy” for him. But he got into boxing after his love for football wore off.

Mike then suggested Blueface fight rappers and if he fought them the way he did in his last bout then he “would f*ck them up”. Blueface was open to the idea and stated that he was “waiting for a call”.  

Celebrity boxing is in fashion and highly lucrative. So no wonder, he is inclined towards it. Although Mike was impressed, he did suggest the rapper.

Tyson says boxing is not everyone’s cup of tea

Boxing is not just another sport. Tyson is aware of that. He stated, “You can be an athlete you can’t do that, You can play marathon but you can’t do that”.
