During a 2020 interview with ESNEWS, Davis’ sparring partner gave details about him knocking out a heavyweight. Reminiscing the day, he said, “Before I was about to spar Tank, he was sparring this big bull, a heavyweight bull. And Tank hit that ni**a . He hit him so hard that he was on the top of the rope just like this. I thought he died. I ain’t gonna lie, I thought he really died.”

‘Tank’ on the other hand, nodded in agreement.

The same interviewer recently met Tyson. And, in conversation, told ‘The Baddest Man on The Planet’ about the knockout. The champ responded by saying, “Stop. Stop Tank. You didn’t knock a heavyweight out. You got him on crack. And you took the dive. Come on man.”

Tyson was further reminded that it took place in Baltimore. Hearing this he hilariously added, “Man, you know how many crackheads are there in Baltimore, man.”

It sure looks like the heavyweight demigod himself is very doubtful of Davis knocking out a heavyweight.

Gervonta Davis and his wheelchair woes

Tyson’s statement came at a time when Davis was seen in a wheelchair. Davis was recently in attendance at the Super Bowl LVII at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
