Mike Tyson has revealed what religion he follows. He was born a Christian, but just like his idol, Muhammad Ali (formerly Cassius Clay), he converted to Islam. ‘Iron’ Mike converted in the early 1990s when he was inactive in boxing.

Mike Tyson appeared on the ‘Full Send Podcast’ hosted by the infamous YouTube group NELK Boys. In an extensive podcast, Tyson spoke about everything from his religion and his new way of living.

“I have the characteristics of many religions, but I’m a Muslim. Somebody might think if I f**king speak Yiddish or if I speak Arabic, someone might think I’m either one or something. But, um, I love God. I do more praying than I can do. You know, my faith is to god and when I die Imma die a Muslim, it’s just who I am as a person,” said Tyson.

The former heavyweight champion of the world made a comeback to the ring back in 2020 after 15 years away from it. He fought fellow legend Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition. The match ended in a draw. However, Tyson expressed his desire to keep fighting in exhibition bouts to raise money for charity.
