Mike Tyson Gives Ultimate Compliment to Rolando Romero Despite Knockout Loss

The confident, hard hitter Rolando Romero had created a pretty intense hype ahead of his first title shot. However, he could not alter the verdict of the fight in his favor as he was stopped by the WBA (Regular) lightweight champion Gervonta Davis in the 6th round. Despite the knockout loss, Rolly has earned a few words of praise from legendary stalwart Mike Tyson.

In a recent episode of ‘HotBoxin with Mike Tyson’, the former two-time heavyweight champ commented on the knockout loss of Romero against the southpaw Gervonta Davis.

He said, “I knew that was going to happen. But Rolly is so good for boxing because he talks enough shit and he’s not a bum. He comes to fight. You gotta knock him out to win.”

Certainly, Romero is a fearless rising prospect. The champ remained on the front foot from the beginning of the trash talk till he got knockouted in the ring. He made the fight exciting.
