The legend of boxing has given glimpses of his training before. He has said that when he trains, there is ‘this other person’ that comes out. Press conference moderator Ariel Helwani asked him if that was the case for this fight as well. To which Mike Tyson replied, “Absolutely. These last few days it’s going to be impossible for me to stay with my family. Nobody’s going to live with me. They kicked me out of the house.”

This is a testimony to how seriously ‘Iron’ Mike has been training for this fight. It shows that Tyson has rekindled the fire that burns inside of him. Plus, Roy Jones Jr himself says he is not prepared to enter the ring with Mike Tyson without undergoing some serious training.

Mike Tyson to continue boxing?

Helwani then asked Tyson if this is just a one-off thing or an actual comeback? Tyson said, “This is for the organization. This is for the legends league only. I’m going to go as long as the league is working. I’m going to do this and I’m going to help a lot of people and my legend is going to be that I gave a lot more than I took”.
