Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson currently hosts his own podcast Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson. The boxing legend has hosted several notable guests on his show, and fans really enjoy watching Tyson delving deep into several subjects with his guests.

While shooting one of his podcast episodes with skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, the veteran boxer nearly escaped from getting badly hurt. Take a look at what he has to say about that incident.

One of the recent episodes of Mike Tyson’s podcast featured American comedian Steelo Brim, and Tyson was also accompanied by Leslie Jones as the co-host. While talking about skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, Leslie Jones said, “Tony Hawk is one of the nicest guys. He is so fu*king cool.” Even Tyson agreed to Jones’ remarks about Hawk.

Furthermore, they were watching Tyson’s skateboard incident during his previous episode. ‘Iron Mike’ stood on a skateboard and was trying to maintain a balance on it. Suddenly he lost his balance, and the skateboard threw him into the air, landing Tyson on a chair that was kept behind. If it wasn’t for the chair, he would have badly hurt himself.

While watching this clip, the 56-year-old explained, “I was fu*king high, fu*king with people.” The three were having a good time together while laughing at Tyson’s funny skateboard stunt. 

Mike Tyson talks about his near-death incident in front of Tony Hawk 

After Tyson’s slip-and-fall episode, Tony Hawk was making jokes about the seasoned boxer’s risky but entertaining attempt on a skateboard. Tyson is known to be a fun and jolly person, and he often cracks jokes about himself.

Following Hawk’s jokes about Tyson’s failed attempt on a skateboard, the latter responded by saying, “It was an almost good attempt of me killing myself, yeah. I almost died.”

Moreover, a few months ago, ‘Iron Mike’ was dealing with a lower back condition named sciatica. He was seen using a wheelchair, and he later admitted that he had difficulty walking and speaking as well. Fans were really concerned about his health, but fortunately, he is now in perfect health.
