Back in the 1990s, the sport of boxing had only one flamboyant superstar in Mike Tyson. With his stupendous knockout power and the ability to terrify his opponents with his approach, Tyson turned into a bigwig in no time. That said, he always came back from adversities in style.
However, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ recently made some disturbing comments about his boxing career. A couple of days back, Tyson unveiled his statue at the Mulberry Pizzeria restaurant in Las Vegas.
Here, in conversation with The Sun, he said, “I had no idea… I am very humbled right now. I am truly grateful.”

Further, Tyson even got to know that this year is the 35th anniversary of him becoming the youngest heavyweight champion. ‘Iron’ bagged the heavyweight gold at just 20 by beating Trevor Berbick. Acknowledging that, he said, “To be honest I don’t remember that night and most of my boxing career is a blur. And so I live this life now.”
Although Tyson may not remember, fans and purists know every detail of his boxing career. ‘Iron Mike’ was the most devastating knockout artist in his prime and he completely redefined the heavyweight roster with his brilliance.
That said, his love for boxing still prevails over anything, and ‘Iron’ Mike fulfills his love by taking on exhibition fights.
