Not many boxers can say that they have won it all in the sport. However, one boxer who could utter that phrase with his head held high is none other than the legendary fighter Mike Tyson. The former undisputed heavyweight champion has conquered the sport of boxing like few others. Unsurprisingly, Tyson was the man to be feared in his generation.

With his vast knowledge and experience, Tyson shared valuable insight into a huge heavyweight clash between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua.

Mike Tyson states why Anthony Joshua lost to Oleksandr Usyk
American actress Rosie Perez joined Tyson on his podcast Hotboxin with Mike’ where the duo spoke at length about boxing. During the interview, the ‘Baddest Man on Planet’ explained why he thought Oleksandr Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua for the unified heavyweight championship.
Tyson stated that at the highest level only the smartest person wins the fight and that’s why he said “Usky beat the s*** out of Joshua. He was smart.” Additionally, according to Tyson, Usyk was “too fast, his jab was too fast.”

Furthermore, Tyson warned Joshua for his rematch against Usyk. Tyson believes if Joshua doesn’t put pressure on Usyk he will lose again. He said, “If Joshua doesn’t know how to put the pressure and use his jab, the same thing is gonna happen.”
When is the rematch between Joshua and Usyk?
Following an upsetting performance, Anthony Joshua will have his eyes set on turning things around this time and he will get his chance to do so on August 20, 2022, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

On the other hand, Oleksandr Usyk will do his best to replicate the masterclass performance that won him the unified heavyweight title. Regardless of the outcome, boxing fans are in for a nail-biting performance from the fighters.
