Mike Tyson became a top-notch fighting sensation in the retro boxing era. Prior to him, boxing lovers didn’t quite see someone displaying an unusual and unexpected persona like him. His highlight like knockouts, fast-paced in-ring movements, and an astonishing fight IQ made him a fan favorite in no time.
Tyson is truly an inspiration to millions and his performances allure a generation of young guns to take up boxing. But Mike Tyson doesn’t quite like the praise he receives.

He said, “I’m aware that a lot of people may watch me and may look up to me and think I’m a certain kind of guy, I’m a good guy, but they have to understand that I’m not worthy of praise. Only God is worthy of praise.”
“I look at YouTube and I see guys have ‘Mike Tyson immortal’, ‘Mike Tyson God,” and I’m not worthy of that.”
“When I die, all I’m going to do is apologize. I felt all the pain I ever caused somebody. All the pain I ever caused people.”

Mike Tyson’s life is no less than a roller coaster ride. Right from emotions, actions, super-stardom, millions of dollars, bankruptcy, and more, Tyson has seen it all. However, one thing that prevails over all is Tyson’s legacy in the boxing space.

Capitalizing on his skills, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ pinned himself as the finest heavyweight of all time. He also became the youngest heavyweight champion at just 20.
