Mike Tyson Recalls Hanging Out with Lil Wayne When He Was 16: ‘He Didn’t Say a Word’

Boxing veteran Mike Tyson is a rap fan and has been close to several rappers in his life. Late Tupac Shakur was one of his friends, and ‘Iron’ Mike continues to cherish that relationship to this day. Furthermore, Tyson also knew Lil Wayne, when the rapper was in his teenage. The ex-heavyweight champion talked about his interaction with Lil Wayne from the past and sent several fans into a frenzy.

In a chat with rapper Polo G and former UFC champion Henry Cejudo, Mike Tyson recalled the incident. While Polo G also reflected on his relationship with Wayne, ‘Iron’ Mike stole the show with his words.

“I used to hang out with these guys in Louisiana. I know he was 16 years old, he didn’t say a word. Now, I can’t stop him from talking,” said Mike Tyson.

Likewise, rapper Lil Wayne has also been a fan of combat sports and is close to many combatants. A few days back, he vowed to make a song on UFC female champion Rose Namajunas. Not only that, but Lil Wayne had also performed live in one of Floyd Mayweather‘s walkouts. That said, Mike Tyson’s recent comments reflect Lil Wayne’s intimacy with fighters, since he was a kid.
