BREAKING: Location Revealed For Mike Tyson Vs Roy Jones Jr

The venue for the historic comeback fight between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr is confirmed. In the pre-fight press conference, Ariel Helwani confirmed that the exhibition fight will take place in the Staples Center. This is welcome news to all fans as it gives a fitting venue for the return of possibly two of the greatest fighters of their generations.

The event will be on PPV and is scheduled for November 28th, 9 PM ET. It will be live on www.tysonontriller.com all over the world. In the press conference, Ariel announced the venue as the Los Angeles Lakers’ home stadium, the Staples Center. It is the home of the 2020 NBA champions and Los Angeles Clippers. Ariel says, “Now we can officially reveal for the very first time that the event will take place at the world-famous Staples Center in Los Angeles.”

This will be the first major sporting event in the historic venue after the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the NBA. And what better event to host than the return of ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. Helwani did confirm that no fans will be present at the venue and can only watch the fight on PPV.

The reputed Canadian journalist confirms who will be hosting the card and doing the post-fight interviews. He says, “The great Mario Lopez will be hosting this amazing pay-per-view card. Jim Gray will be doing pre and post-fight interviews.”  Thus, confirming that it will be a star-studded event and something that provides the fans with the entertainment they crave.

Helwani also confirms that the two fighters will be competing for the ‘Frontline Battle Belt’ and the WBC will score the fight. This gives the fight more credibility and ensures that it is not just an exhibition fight. The fight will also include three other fights featuring other stars.

Internet sensation Jake Paul will face-off against former NBA star Nate Robinson. Whereas Badou Jack will face Blake McKernan. The event will kick-off with an interesting matchup between internet-famous cruiserweight Viddal Riley against former UFC heavyweight Rashad Coulter.

As things stand, the fight is finally happening. After already having to postpone once, fans can finally look forward to seeing the legends of the sport back in action. And what better venue than the historic Staples Center.
