While Mike Tyson remains an iconic figure in the boxing world, with his legendary status and unmatched achievements forever etched in history, his daughter, Mikey Lorna Tyson, is carving out her own path in the music industry. Recently, Mikey reached a major milestone in her music career, and she’s now sharing this exciting achievement with the world.

Mikey Lorna Tyson was born on 31 July 1990, and she is the eldest daughter of Mike Tyson and his then ex-girlfriend, Kimberly Scarborough. Growing up as the daughter of the biggest boxing star at the time, Mikey spent most of her childhood living with her mother, with occasional visits to her father, who was facing legal issues at the time. 

Regardless, at 34, life is different for Mikey aka Miki Tyson and her music career seems to have picked up steam. Turning to her Instagram story earlier today, Tyson’s eldest daughter revealed that her new song “Love Me Again” is trending at number one under the ‘Best New Hype Dance’ category on Beatport, an electronic music-oriented global platform owned by LiveStyle. 

To celebrate the milestone, Miki Tyson shared, “My song #lovemeagain is number 1 in dance pop worldwide on #beatport,” and encouraged her 11.2K followers to “please support this amazing journey.” She also urged her followers to purchase the song, noting, “Purchase #lovemeagain for $1.69 to keep my ratings up[.] It would mean the world to me[.] Thank you [so] much.”

Mikey’s record label, FVYDID [pronounced faded] based out of Las Vegas, also commented on her achievement, writing, “Thank you @beatport for featuring @missmikityson in your Top Tracks of October.” That said, while Mikey’s achievement is her own, Mike Tyson may have played a small role in getting her there. 

Mike Tyson credits his daughter for being an incredible writer and singer

A few days ago, ‘Iron’ Mike turned to his Instagram account with over 30 million followers to promote his daughter’s latest song, ‘Love Me Again.’ The post itself seems to have gathered over 1.7 million likes and hundreds of comments, diverting much of the traffic towards his daughter’s new song. 

While that can be considered a major factor in getting Mikey’s song on the top, Tyson himself feels his daughter is “an incredible writer and singer.” He captioned the post, “My daughter @missmikityson ‘s new song. So proud. She’s an incredible writer and singer. Make sure you follow her page for more music.”
