Boxing legend Mike Tyson is set to make a cameo in the 4th installment of Jackie Chan’s action blockbuster Rush Hour. The Chinese actor recently confirmed that the movie will have a part 4.

The three movies of the franchise saw great success grossing over $500 million in box office earnings. Moreover, Chan revealed that he is now in talks with the director in Saudi Arabia and discuss the script for the latest installment.

Jackie Chan reveals talks for Rush Hour 4 in progress

In a conversation at the Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) in Saudi Arabia, Chan confirmed that part 4 will be released but has not yet given an official date. Moreover, the director of the film has also not been revealed.

Renowned director Brett Ratner directed the first 3 parts of this action blockbuster. However, it will be unlikely he will direct this part due to his off-screen controversies. A fourth feature of the film has been demanded by fans for a long time. However, for years the movie has never materialized. Despite Chan once hinting at a fourth film, he has never publically addressed this until now.

Iron Mike might not be too fond of Hollywood after he made a brutally honest admission about the culture in the industry. On his podcast Hotboxin, Tyson stated that he needed to have control over the role he has. Moreover, he also expressed his dissatisfaction with Hollywood claiming he could not do movies. “I have to do my own movie with my own care. I can’t do that s**t, can’t do Hollywood. It’s not working.” said Tyson
