YouTube boxing sensation Jake Paul is busy training for his upcoming fight against former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson on November 15th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. In the meantime, the 27-year-old hopped on Instagram today to share a clip from his rigorous training session.

‘The Problem Child’ shared a clip of himself sparring with his training partner, who seemed like a heavyweight, a day ago. Considering the fight has already gained so much traction among boxing fans, it didn’t take long for the clip to attract several eyes. However, alongside came a plethora of opinions, especially from Mike Tyson’s son, Amir Tyson, and Paul’s girlfriend, Jutta Leerdam.

Jake Paul is counting the days

On October 5th, ‘El Gallo’ hopped on Instagram to share the clip in question with the caption of the post reading, “41 days.” Interestingly, Paul will go head-to-head with ‘Iron’ Mike in a ten-two-minute round fight live on Netflix. The fight was originally scheduled for July, but Tyson suffered an ulcer flare-up during a cross-country flight, which pushed the fight back.

In the meantime, Paul took on Mike Perry instead, which saw Paul dropping Perry three times in rounds one, two, and six en route to a 6th round stoppage win. Regardless of his ferocious performance against the former UFC star, fans are pretty convinced that ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ will make quick work of the influencer. So much so that Leerdam’s cheers on Paul’s latest post seem to have gone unheard against the many warnings fans shared in the comments.

Since the clip went live, views and comments started pouring in pretty quickly. Reacting to the sparring session, Leerdam wrote, “Let’s go, baby.” Her comment quickly got a response from a fan who wrote back, “Your baby will go to sleep 😴.”

Meanwhile, Amir Tyson reacted to the sparring sessions with a bunch of laughing emojis. “😂😂😂😂😂,” Amir wrote, expressing his amusement at Paul’s fruitless efforts. However, Paul is known to knock out older opponents, which has also caused some concerns in the community.

The post also seems to have attracted a comment from a fellow boxer Juan Antonio Velazquez. The lightweight with an 8-1-1 record wrote, “Bro sparring my drunk uncle.” Well, despite what it looks like, Paul has managed to achieve relative success in the sport, albeit fighting mostly UFC combatants and unknown boxers.

Another user seems to be a little jealous of Paul after seeing the clip. “Jake gets to meet Mike Tyson and [Muhammad] Ali in 1 night. Lucky guy,” the user wrote. The user is, of course, mocking Paul while warning him about deadly consequences.

The next user seemed to have had a similar idea. “Jake Paul gonna get slept fighting like this,” commented the user. Whether this turns out to be true is yet to be seen come fight night.

That being said, the boxing world seems extremely confident about Mike Tyson prevailing over Jake Paul when the fight does happen. Regardless, the question is, what do you think about the upcoming fight?
