Mike Tyson is no less than a boxing historian who has seen the sport evolve through the years. Spending 20 years as one of the biggest superstars of pro boxing, Tyson saw the other side of the business in his post-retirement life. Although his relationship with Don King had already introduced him to the dirty politics of the sport, Tyson also learned about the bright side of it.

That said, he continues to suggest the modern-era fighters about several things, as ‘Uncle Mike’ now appears to be the blueprint of success for many surging stars. While fans often accuse modern-era boxers of depriving them of the best matchups, Tyson might have the solution for it.

In a chat with 2X middleweight champion David Benavidez, Tyson also brought the founder of ESNEWS, Elie Seckbach before the camera. According to ‘Iron’ Mike, Seckbach can potentially stage the most important fights in boxing. Tyson billed him to be the broker for the matchups and claimed that he seems underpaid for his status.

While Seckbach explained he doesn’t prioritize money, Tyson claimed that at least his time should be prioritized. He also talked about Elie Seckbach’s impact on boxing as it stands.

“You can help a lot of these guys too. Can get a lot of these guys the fight that need to be done, you got the number of all the managers, promoters, and stuff. You can get this s*** done,” said Mike Tyson.
