Mike Tyson Screams as Actor Donnie Yen Punches His Guts Out in Hilarious Video

Mike Tyson is one of the select few boxers who have made their mark even outside the squared circle. Despite retiring years ago, the boxing legend is not only famed for his in-ring skills, but is also considered by many a pop-culture icon.

A fan favorite, Tyson landed several roles in movies and Tv shows after he quit boxing. And for anyone who believes Iron Mike has no place in Hollywood, this video of Tyson and actor Donnie Yen demonstrating a fight scene is all you need to be proven wrong.

Tyson gets body punched by Donnie Yen

In an interview where Tyson and Yen were promoting their film IP Man 3 back in 2015, Yen demonstrates to the reporter how action scenes in the movie were choreographed.

Yen told the reporter that although there is no physical contact during a fight scene, the other person has to sell. “We don’t really contact but the other person has to sell it like they are getting hurt,” he said and started punching Tyson in the body. Iron Mike then hilariously screams, imitating being brutally punched to demonstrate how they make it all look real.

Mike Tyson and his Hollywood career

Mike Tyson retired from boxing in 2005 at 38 years old. Having hung his gloves after a glorious career, Tyson pursued acting and used his pop-culture fame to make in-roads into Hollywood. Tyson’s first breakthrough came when he made an appearance in Todd Phillips’ “The Hangover” back in 2009.

Since then he has played a part in Scary Movie 5, Ip Man 3, and Entourage. He has also been a producer for a few series like Being: Mike Tyson and Champs.

Tyson has now moved on from acting in movies and is more focused on his business ventures and podcast Hotboxin, which has seen a huge growth in recent years. However, Tyson still does a few cameo roles and is set to make an appearance in an Indian sports action film “Liger” this year.
