This was all made possible by Manney’s trainer Alan Blyweis who has previously sparred with Tyson. “Alan spared with Tyson, Lennox Lewis. He’s been around for a while. His boxing history is pretty good,” Manney revealed in an interview. Moreover, Manney also revealed that he and Blyweis were partners for over 15 years and met after Blyweiss decided to hang up his gloves. Following this, the two have spent their time developing the boxing gym that doubles as a church and Christian mission.

Manney also stated that the purpose of the event would be to help people struggling with various problems through boxing. During the event, he will preach to a congregation of about 80 fighters. Moreover, there will also be a VIP dinner at the event featuring pro fighters, including Tyson. The cost of entering this dinner is set at $100 per person, with a capacity limited to 300 people. However, the price for general admission is $25, while a ringside seat will cost $65. The gym also has an offer to sit at a 10-seat ringside table for $2,500, which will feature visits with all the veteran guest fighters.
