After Tyson Fury’s dominating performance over Deontay Wilder, heavyweight legend Mike Tyson wants to see Fury fight yet another big name in boxing.
Back in 2018, Fury was part of a close decision against Deontay Wilder. Many fans believed that he was robbed of a victory. Ultimately, this led to Wilder vs Fury 2 in which Fury made the necessary changes and dominated Wilder to win the WBC heavyweight championship.
Before the showdown, Mike Tyson supported his friend Tyson Fury. After all, Fury and Tyson share a common name. Post-fight, Tyson even celebrated Fury’s victory over Wilder.

Mike Tyson wants to see Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua
“I don’t know,” Tyson said when he was asked who will win a match between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. He showed keen interest in a potential bout between the Brits. Tyson also believes that the fight will make a ton of money for both men.
“They’re in the best shape possible to be in and getting the most out of this sport as they can. No, I don’t think [they’re too nice and respectful]. Not as far as attitude and will to win. These guys are really desperate to win,” Tyson told the Sportsman.

As far as Wilder is concerned, Tyson believes that he has the right to get back in the ring. He advised Wilder to stay healthy and keep his head in the game.
In a perfect world, we will likely get to see Fury and Joshua go at it. However, as we have learnt in the past few weeks, the world is not perfect. The Coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc around the world. Many sporting events have shut down, including boxing events. And we don’t know when they will resume.

Apart from that, Wilder has activated his rematch clause. It means that Fury will have to face Wilder for the third time. On the other hand, Joshua has a bout scheduled with Kubrat Pulev and must go through him first. As of now, the bout seems impossible to make but the world of combat sports is unpredictable and anything can happen.
Tyson had some beautiful words for the sport of boxing. He believes that boxing is simply not making money but leaving behind a legacy for everyone to remember.
