In response to this topic, Tyson hints at a solution by talking about his old training days. He says, “ When I was champion, and these guys they weren’t reigned , they weren’t ready, but they were raised the hell they’re knocking out guys and saying I want to fight you. I said listen, um, me and you won’t make money now, but if you really think you’re that tough, why don’t you just come in my sport and become my sparring partner?”
“I had the toughest, I had all my sparring partners were um, contenders. Well, it’s all about getting kids about all out there trying to knock me out.”
‘Iron‘ Mike Tyson trained differently from a regular boxer, which made him outstanding. He had a strict routine that included his hard work and perseverance, which made him the world champion.
Likewise, Tyson talks about how he used to deal with the challengers who wanted to fight him by calling them over a sparring session. This would fulfill their hunger to fight Tyson, as well as it was more practice for Tyson.
Consequently, he suggests to Adesanya how he can deal with Khamzat Chimaev without fighting him in a UFC match.
