Mike Tyson is the guy no one wants to mess with. The former two-time world heavyweight champion has a phenomenal character arch. In his boxing days, he was known to be unpredictable and aggressive. Even during interviews, one had to be careful not to say the wrong thing to the heavyweight champion. This is a matter of discussion because once Tyson went off on the NBA legend Charles Barkley aka ‘Chuck’.

Irrespective of the reason for the outburst, the way Tyson responded to it was unexpected because it had no relation to him. ‘Inside The NBA’ recorded the reaction of ‘Iron’ Mike after showing him a physical brawl between former NBA great Shaquille O Neal and Charles Barkley.

In the video, Tyson appeared to say, “That was really funny. Yeah, that was really funny. Don’t fight. If that’s not what you do, don’t do it. Chuck was a little awkward, looking hesitant. You know hesitant in throwing the punch and they didn’t come across as good fighters you know and by the way Chuck I will kick your a**. I would just kick your a**. I will kick your a**.”

Notably, when Barkley himself heard Tyson’s response, he had only one thing left to do. Either leave the topic or give a response to Tyson. However, being smart, Barkley chose to move on from the topic.

What happened between Shaquille O’ Neal and Charles Barkley?

This infamous fight between two legends garnered a lot of attention because it’s something rare that the world witnessed on the basketball court. It happened during the contest between the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets on November 10, 1999, following Barkley’s attempt to hit Shaq with a ball.

During the game, ‘Shaq‘ representing the center of the Lakers blocked ‘Chuck’ while defending the shot which was going to be taken by the latter. However, in the heated moment, ‘Chuck’ thought Shaq pushed him, so he threw a ball at Shaq’s head.

As a matter of fact, Shaq lost his patience and charged at Barkley. The duo fell to the ground, wrestling each other. It was so intense that management intervened to separate them.

This was the incident to which Tyson responded.
