Floyd Mayweather took on John Gotti III in June last year, a fight that ended in utter mayhem. After Mayweather played with Gotti for several rounds, the grandson of the popular mob boss tried to attack Mayweather. Soon, people jumped inside the ring to protect the boxing legend as chaos ensued in the venue.
Tarver was ringside for the fight, so in an interview with TMZ Sports, he revealed, “I don’t know, it just happened so fast. I [was] calling the fight at [the] time.” Tarver suggested even though Floyd put on a great show, Gotti didn’t seem like he wanted to fight until he was disqualified. “When the fight was actually taking place, he didn’t have that energy, man,” said Tarver.
