Oleksandr Usyk awed the boxing fraternity when he dethroned Anthony Joshua last weekend. It was a complete boxing performance from the underdog. He left no stones unturned in bagging this win. With his win, the former undisputed cruiserweight champ became the unified heavyweight king. Now, he’ll have to battle Joshua once again as a clause of the contract.
Bigwigs like Mike Tyson are eager to see the Ukrainian fighter go up against even more technical and intimidating heavyweights like Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz Jr.
Recently, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’, in an interview with Es News, revealed why he’d like to see Usyk go up against Wilder and Ruiz Jr.

He said, “I want Usyk fight these other guys, Wilder, Andy Ruiz. I want to see Usyk fight those guys. Those guys are more experienced than Joshua.”
Since Usyk now sits at the peak of the big division, he will undoubtedly face the above-mentioned contenders if he keeps winning.

The heavyweight division is by far the most challenging roster in boxing and Usyk will get to face the toughest of contenders, irrespective of his results. Joshua is definitely a stalwart he beat, but the Brit is known for comebacks. Hence, he may stun Usyk in a rematch.
Regardless of anything, ‘The Cat’ will look to do what he does best and maintain his unbeaten streak.

That said, this strategy will work wonders for him against Wilder and Ruiz Jr. too, who won’t be used to an opponent with such graceful movements.
