Floyd Mayweather has all the reasons to step up as a favorite against Logan Paul on June 6. Ahead of the bout, and based on the records, the undefeated boxer appears to be the favorite, unless it turns out to be the most shocking day for the sport.

That said, veteran boxing trainer, Teddy Atlas has already sensed some danger for Floyd Mayweather. Speaking on his podcast, he previewed the upcoming exhibition and revealed why it can be a bad matchup for the former five-division world champion. Although Atlas didn’t appear to be on Logan Paul’s corner, he still backed the YouTuber under some valid parameters.

Teddy Atlas said, “There could be danger here for Floyd. I know, I said it okay. I am not saying it because of the athlete that Paul is, the fighter, the background, any of that. Of course, he doesn’t have anything in that area. But when does Floyd not become Floyd, when does Floyd cease to exist? When is it not Floyd anymore?”

“I think people are forgetting that. He is 44-years-old. He hasn’t fought for four years, he had some exhibition two years ago. I don’t know if it was even real in Japan, where he got paid a lot of money for 139 seconds.”

Despite all the arguments, Mayweather can still be too good for the YouTube personality. As none of the world champion boxers could ever beat Mayweather, Paul doesn’t seem to have a chance. Moreover, the YouTuber will have to be cautious about defending Mayweather’s sharp punches.

While Paul has some valid advantages on his side, Mayweather doesn’t look likely to fall prey to a YouTuber. Hence, it’s safe to predict him winning the fight. Besides, it would be a win-win situation for both the contenders as they will grab lucrative paychecks.
